A Russian family have adopted a giant pet brown bear named Stepan whom they take along as they go on camping trips in the countryside and do all kinds of fun things together.

Stepan, adopted after he was orphaned, has become so tame that he joins in his family’s hide-and-seek games, reading sessions and even sits down to eat with them.

Here are nine parenting lessons Stepan’s owners have playfully offered to fellow bear owners.
