A cat and a bear have formed an unlikely friendship at the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary in Folsom, California.
Though Little Bear — a feral black cat — and Sequoia — a 550-pound bear — might not necessarily seem like the perfect pals, the two have nevertheless become close friends.
Jill Faust, senior lead zoo keeper, explains that Little Bear just showed up one day and has stuck around ever since.

And here are the highlights:
Faust said Sequoia (pictured) and Little Bear are both older animals and are slower with their age, which is likely why they get along so well.
Every morning we scatter dog food for the bears and she started coming into the exhibit and eating the dog food.
Once she started coming in here on a regular basis we started putting food out for her in the morning as well.
