Reddit user cdipping has shared an awesome story under a revealing title: Chinese SWAT officer unable to get time off 24 hr shift to take wedding photos. Studio comes to his station instead.
No other details were shared, but I tracked down the source and here is the story.
Hou Weilin, a 29-year-old member of the Chongqing Armed Police Corps, is getting married soon, but his 24-hour on-call work schedule prevented him from accompanying his girlfriend for the traditional pre-wedding photo shoot.
Fortunately, Hou came up with a solution — he turned his SWAT training center into a photo studio. After a long day of training, Hou put on his SWAT uniform, while the bride put on her wedding gown and veil.
The two then proceeded to strike some classic bride-and-groom poses, which naturally featured plenty of guns and stuff.
Here are the awesome images.
