A Creepy Manhattan Landlord Arrested For Secretly Filming Two Women.

A creepy landlord charged with secretly filming a woman he let live rent-free in his apartment has now been charged with taping another woman.

Eli Kadoch was first arrested in 2014, after his maid found a hidden camera inside a clock. Later, executing a search warrant, police found videos of the second woman, a resident of the man’s building, in his computer and he was charged again.

The original arrest was made last July, when Kadoch was busted for filming Aksana Kuzmitskaya, who lived at his nine-unit apartment building, police said.

Kuzmitskaya received room and board from the landlord in exchange for doing cleaning duties, according to her Manhattan civil suit.

When the 20-something woman, a computer science grad student, noticed a lens embedded inside a clock in her bathroom, she called police.

Kuzmitskaya looked into the clock and found a USB drive which contained more than 70 images of her “in intimate and private acts… using the bathroom, in her underwear, naked and in the act of showering”, according to her suit.

At least one of the images also caught her “engaged in a sexually explicit act”.

However, the most incriminating evidence turned out to be an image which captured Kadoch “installing the camera within the digital clock”, the civil suit says.

Joseph Mure Jr., Kuzmitskaya’s attorney, said:

I think, maybe, he was trying to adjust the angle to get a better view.

At his arraignment on Monday, Kadoch pleaded not guilty to 67 counts of unlawful surveillance. Meanwhile, prosecutors intend to consolidate the new charges with the ones from last year’s case.
