A Mother Feeds Her 16-Month-Old Daughter Jalapeno Peppers To Film Her Reaction.

A mother has captured on video her 16-month-old daughter’s horrified reaction to eating a jalapeno peppers for the first time.

The child was filmed at the family home somewhere in England by her mother, who gives her the peppers from her plate and lets the child eat them.

The baby is filmed crying and taking the chilli food out of her mouth, but she nevertheless repeatedly goes back to try it again, while her mom is heard giggling in the background.

The caption to the video muses over the possibility that the youngster may “strangely enjoy it since she goes back for more”.

Viewers’ reactions to the video have been mixed. Some commenters find the clip funny, while others are horrified.

Trevor Ketch, for instance, was impressed with the little girl. He wrote:

Wow! She took it like a champ!

Another user, who goes by SnorkFlirt, simply wrote: “lol”.

James Welch, however, branded the episode “child abuse” and added:

If she had reached for a weapon would you let her pull the trigger? What a Dumb A** Parent.

Another commenter, bohnstube, referring to another video uploaded by the same YouTube user, wrote:

First it was the “let your kid chew on a lemon slice” for a “cute video”, and now it’s jalapenos.

Anybody who actually enjoys causing an innocent toddler pain and discomfort for their own amusement or to make a hoped for “viral video”, ought to have their freakin’ head examined.

Yet another outraged viewer, bbrain2, wrote:

Hey…that’s not funny you bone-head!
