An Australian woman was left fearing for her life after a silverback gorilla charged at her and knocked her over while she was on her honeymoon in Rwanda.
Gemma Cosgriff was observing a family of gorillas in their natural habitat in Rwanda with her husband Damian, when the silverback pushed her over.
Cosgriff had been advised to act submissive and avoid eye contact with the huge ape.
