I know that there are many others out there pondering this mystery. So, here is the answer to a century-and-a-half old question: “How would van Gogh have painted a bulldozer had he seen one while roaming the fields of Southern France?”.
A huge shout-out goes to Reddit user RichJanney for painting the post-Impressionist construction masterpiece (or is that a post-post-Impressionist?) and for sharing it with the rest of the world. I fact, as RichJanney reminds us, this is the second such piece he has painted. He says:
This is me trying to imitate Van Gogh, who painted impressionist paintings. If you like this, you should go check out the real deal. He’ll blow your mind.
You will not be surprised to learn that the Reddit community has gone completely crazy over the new van Gogh. At the time of writing, the as-of-yet unnamed masterpiece has been viewed close to one million times, in NINE HOURS! That may or may not have set some kind of record for such things, but it’s surely hugely impressive.
RichJanney’s first van Gogh / construction masterpiece is also very popular, getting 1.83 million views at the time of writing. I absolutely love both of them. Here they are.
1. A month ago. “My 3 year old son likes the moon and construction equipment. I like Van Gogh, so…”
2. Today. “I did another painting for my son who likes constructions equipment. And the stars. And the moon.”
Share these modern masterpieces with your friends below — they will love them.
