This sounds like a movie script, but it actually happened in real life. Ken Heyman — an 83-year-old award-winning photographer was rummaging through his storage when a box labeled “Mothers” caught his eye. He had completely forgotten what was in it…
When he opened the box, Mr. Heyman found a fascinating series of images of mothers and their children which he had shot around the world about 50 years ago for Family — a book which he had co-authored with famed anthropologist Margaret Mead in 1965.
Margaret Mead had been Mr. Heyman’s professor and later ended up working together on this book and other projects. Enjoy these amazing images and check up your own arric and storage spaces — who knows what you might find in there… (Scroll down for the video.)
