Here Is A Dreamlike Little Village Of Tree Houses Connected By Bridges. So Beautiful…

These images struck me speechless. There is so much beauty in them that I found myself daydreaming. Now, we’ve seen gorgeous tree houses before, but what’s different here, apart from the fact that these are really, truly beautiful, is that we have not one, but three of them linked to one another!

The creations you are about to enjoy are the work of architect and environmentalist Peter Bahouth who designed and built this charming trio of tree houses in an Atlanta forest, which also doubles as his backyard. Then he linked them by bridges.

Bahouth’s idea was to create a kind of fort for grown-ups and was inspired by the tree houses and adventures of his youth.

The three houses are named “Mind”, “Body” and “Spirit” and include a living room and bedroom with a bed that slides out for a better view of the forest below.

The photos that you are about to see were taken for Jane Field-Lewis’ book My Cool Shed and were provided courtesy of photographer Lindsay Appel.

This is truly remarkable!
