This one is a lot of fun, although I have to say that at first I just passed it by, only to get back to the story a few minutes later. The thing that stands out the most in the images you are about to see below is the way they were done. Although I may be challenged here, because, judging by the comments, many people see it differently than I do. In any case, you’ll be the judge of it.
So, here is the story. Reddit user RollingRoyces (I love that handle) has shared with us some images of cheap paintings which (presumably) he or she has improved on. Here is what RollingRoyces has to say in the introduction:
Adding monsters to thrift store paintings.
That’s it, everything else is left to the viewers’ imagination — something Reddit users are known to have in excess. Before you know it, the conversation turns to Weeser’s new album, then there are all kinds of other commentaries until, finally, we arrive at the source of the images where we learn who created the paintings and a few new photos are added.
It turns out that two artists — Chris McMahon and Thryza Segal — have a knack for buying charity shop paintings and then adding monsters to them. They make an effort to match the original artwork and inject scenes with some paranormal activity. Here are all of them.
Share these monstrous thrift store paintings with your friends below — they will have fun with them.
