If what you crave for is a Peanut Butter Bacon Bison Burger or a Loaded Twister Dog or an “Octoberfest Beer Candied Bacon, drizzled with our Honey Lager Light Maple Syrup”, you should be at the Wisconsin State Fair.
First things first: a huge “thank you” to Reddit user danheinz for sharing these awesome menu items with us — they made my day! In case you are looking for a recommendation, danheinz, who was at the Fair, is happy to make one:
I bought the bacon wrapped tater tots last year… It was pretty damn good, but the burgers were all pre assembled the burger was a little dry.
But don’t let that discourage you, there are plenty of other options. Again, danheinz:
Deep fried Jalapeno stuffed pickles and Beer Battered deep fried Twinkies. I saw those there, but I live across the border in Illinois so I have already had those before.
And how about the Udder Delight? Well:
Probably my second favorite thing I ate at the fair. My beer goggles made me get a double scoop. I regretted that afterwards. Is cedar crest just an Ice cream company like a breyers, or do they have free standing stores?
Of course, the comments are, as usual, illuminating. Things like “Alternative title: Why the average life expectancy in Wisconsin is 43” are all over the comments section. This is so funny… (Scroll down for the video.)
