So, it is official. Jiff, a Pomeranian dog from Los Angeles, California, has set two new world records, which earned him a place in the 60th anniversary edition of the Guinness World Records book, which will be released in September.
Jiff is the fastest dog at running 10m (32 feet) on hind legs (he does it in 6.56 seconds) and he is also the fastest at 5m (16 feet) on front paws (7.76 seconds).
To achieve these feats, Jiff has been practicing running on his front and hind legs on a daily basis. To set the two new world records, Jiff had to complete both distances in under 10 seconds, which he did on his first attempt.
However, not satisfied with this achievement, the dog is capable of other remarkable things. For example, Jiff can shake hands, bow, ride a skateboard and, which is of particular importance now, he can even stamp his own autograph.
Over the past year, Jiff has taken the internet by storm, with countless fans on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. The multi-talented dog has even starred in a Katy Perry music video, not to mention TV ads. (Scroll down for the video.)
