Sometimes you just can’t understand how people can be so mean and heartless. Especially when their nastiness is directed toward a helpless baby animal who is stranded alone in a dangerous place. That was exactly the situation in which one black bear cub had found itself when a group of hunters started taunting him.
The incident took place in West Milford, New Jersey, where, having lost its mother, the bear cub in question had scampered atop a tree and was in obvious distress. In the video below, we can hear the cub cry for its mother, as it is being mocked by some hunters. Now, we don’t know what happened to the bear mother and we don’t know whether the hunters had anything to do with the separation of mother and cub. But what they do is still disgraceful.
A male hunter, who records the video, is heard mockingly saying, “Do you want your mom?” and he later adds, “Come on down”. He is the one who says that they are in West Milford with a wild bear. Then he points toward the black bear cub and says, “He’d make a nice little coat”.
Seconds later, as the cub climbs down the tree and runs away to safety, a female hunter is heard saying “Here he comes” and the male adds “He’s a motoring”.
We don’t know whether the cub ever reunited with its mother — we don’t even know whether its mom is still alive… (Scroll down for the video.)

And here is the video:
