A South Carolina couple forced their 14-year-old daughter to live in the woods to punish her after she ate a Pop Tart without permission.
Crystal Lynn Driggers, 36, and James Allen Driggers, 33, have been accused of banishing their daughter from their home after they learned that she ate the sweet treat, The State reports.
The parents allegedly told the teen not to come home for a week. One of them was delivering food to her on a specified schedule, according to the report.

The girl, who has not been named, was told by her parents to pitch a tent in the woods and was given a whistle, a flashlight, toilet paper and a watch.
When a thunderstorm moved through the area on Thursday, “the child was also left to fend for herself”, according to a news release from the local sheriff’s department.
Crystal Lynn Driggers and James Allen Driggers are in custody at the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center and await a bond hearing.
2. A Facebook page depicts the married couple as active body-builders and shows many photos of them weight-lifting and dieting.
Each parent is facing one count of unlawful neglect of a child and additional charges are possible.
The 14-year-old girl is in the custody of the South Carolina Department of Social Services. The teen’s four siblings have been placed into the custody of their grandparents.
Meanwhile, the investigation into this incident continues.
3. Crystal Driggers says on her Facebook page that she is a coach at a company called “Beach Body” and the couple seem to have a gym set up in their home.
