The moment a team of police officers made a human chain to rescue a struggling dog from drowning in a canal was captured on video.

One of the officers took off his clothes and jumped into the water, so he could get closer to the dog in Trujillo, Peru.

He swam over to the canine and helped him to swim toward his fellow officers who began walking down the steep bank and made a chain to reach the dog.
