Sarah Palin Sparks Outrage And Accusations Of Animal Abuse After Posting Pictures On Facebook Of Her Son Standing On Her Dog.

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has sparked anger on social media by posting pictures on Facebook of her six-year-old son Trig standing on her dog.

Mrs. Palin described the three photos of Trig using the family’s black Labrador for a stepping stool as “a symbol of perseverance”. However, the former governor’s message was met with an instant outburst of anger, with commenters calling Mrs. Palin irresponsible and worse.

The post, published on Thursday, read:

Happy New Year! May 2015 see every stumbling block turned into a stepping stone on the path forward. Trig just reminded me. He, determined to help wash dishes with an oblivious mama not acknowledging his signs for “up!”, found me and a lazy dog blocking his way. He made his stepping stone.

Yet, viewers were unimpressed and lashed out at Mrs. Palin. (Scroll down for the post itself.)
