That’s the kind of story you would never believe could take place in the real world. Well, at least I wouldn’t believe it. I mean, I couldn’t even imagine that such a thing could happen. But happen it did…
So, Wasatch High School took a general decision to give the Photoshop treatment to some yearbook photos in which female students looked too sexy. In practice, that entailed things like showing less skin and removing tattoos. Naturally, affected girls complained against a decision to make them look less sexy, but the school district’s superintendent defended the decision and that was that. (Scroll down for a video.)
1. A Utah high school has used Photoshop to censor its yearbook photos because it deemed some female students’ pictures too sexy.
2. Sophomore Kimberly Montoya said her shirt ‘was a cream color, and the color of the cover-up was completely white. It looked like white-out on my skin’.
3. The school decided this student’s tattoo was too provocative.
4. Wasatch High School, pictured, altered the images of certain students to show less skin without them knowing about it.
