This is a disturbing story and I have actually spared you some of the more graphic images. So, Alecia Phonesavanh from Wisconsin was visiting her sister-in-law in Atlanta, Georgia with her 19-month-old son, Bou, when their house came under attack by a SWAT team.
As you will hear in the video that follows (a WSB report), deputies said that they bought drugs from the house and then returned with a no-knock warrant to arrest a man known to have drugs and weapons. “It landed in his playpen and exploded on his pillow right in his face”, the mother told WSBTV. “It’s my baby. He’s only a baby. He didn’t deserve any of this.”
As I said, hugely disturbing. (Scroll down for the video.)
1. Little Bou Phonesavanh was severely injured by a grenade during a SWAT raid early Thursday.
2. Bou before the attack.
3. This is the badly charred crib.
4. A SWAT team raided this Cornela, Georgia, home early Thursday.
5. Bou’s mom, Alecia Phonesavanh is in shock after the attack and injury to her baby.
And here is the video:
