A fascinating video has captured two identical twin girls locking eyes for the first time and it is simply precious. The babies hold hands and are even having a “conversation” in their special language.
The video begins with the twins, named Paula and Alyssa, lying on a bed on their stomachs, propped up by body pillows and facing each other.
Each of them seems to recognize her twin for the first time and then begin a conversation that no one else can possibly understand, every now and then reaching out and grabbing each other’s hands.
The parents, Paul and Ally, say that moments like this make life with twins very fun and rewarding, even though it can often be extremely challenging. In an email to The Daily Mail, the couple wrote:
It’s a two people job. They eat at the same time, they go to sleep at the same time. They copy each other, but they have very different personalities, though both love to laugh and have a great sense of humor.
Here is the video itself, enjoy!
The twins also have similar milestones, as their development is the same, which makes it that much easier for the parents to capture this first-time moment on camera. The couple wrote:
It was so awesome to see them realizing that they have a little playmate who’s just the same as them. Every time we would place the babies on their tummies after their meals, we’d see if they would interact and they didn’t really.
As soon as their dad saw them lock eyes on each other and light up when seeing each other, he knew it was a moment that couldn’t have been missed. They were filled with love in their eyes and so were we.
And here is another video, in which one of the babies is amused by her crying sister:
1. Dad, Paul, captured the heartwarming moment when the two realized they had a little playmate for life.
2. Although life with twins can be difficult, their parents admit that moments like these make it all worth it.
3. ‘They have similar milestones, since they develop at the same time,’ the girls’ parents wrote.
4. The two ‘lit up’ when they looked at each other, which is when dad, Paul, ran for the camera and began filming.
