The Shooting In Ottawa’s Parliament Building Has Been Captured On This Video And It Is Quite A Scene…

After Muslim convert Michael Zehaf-Bibeau shot and killed Corporal Nathan Cirillo, as he was standing guard at Canada’s war memorial on Wednesday, the shooter stormed Parliament where he was shot dead by the ceremonial sergeant-at-arms Kevin Vickers. The video below has captured the shooting inside the Parliament building.

After exchanging shots with the parliamentary security guards at the entrance, Zehaf-Bibeau made his way to the end of the Hall of Honor and hides into an alcove.

Vickers then perches himself on the one side of a pillar, while Zehaf-Bibeau is on the other side. They are literally at arm’s length from each other at this point and the sergeant-at-arms could actually see the barrel of the terrorist’s gun.

Vickers doesn’t hesitate, though. He takes his gun, dives around the pillar to the ground, spins to lend on his back and fires upwards at Zehaf-Bibeau, hitting the terrorist as he himself hits the ground.

Zehaf-Bibeau then falls and VIckers continues to fire at him, emptying his entire clip. At that time the rest of the security team arrives and they, too, open fire.

Now, you don’t get to see in the video the action as described above, but you do get a feeling of how it felt to be inside the building.
