THIS Is What Years Of Drug Abuse Have Done To Eminem’s Face…

Yesterday, we shared the way Donatella Versace’s face has changed over the past 20 years, through countless of cosmetic surgeries, until today the fashion designer’s look is painfully unrecognizable.

Well, it seems like rapper Eminem is well on his way to achieving similarly terrible results. Eminem has admitted that his drug addiction has almost cost him his life. And, judging by his latest photos, the years of drug abuse may well left an indelible impact on his face.

Earlier this week in New York, the rapper spoke at the Wall Street Journal’s Innovator Of The Year awards, looking gaunt and exhausted, with the lines and veins in hiss pale face being clearly visible.

Eminem’s drug abuse began during the filming of the movie 8 Mile, when he was reportedly filming for 16 hours a day and could not sleep. After taking an Ambien, the rapper took a prescription, and eventually got hooked on the pills.

Once addicted, he soon started taking, in his words, “ridiculous amount” of pills. Apart from Ambien, Eminem has admitted to abusing Vicodin and Valium. Then in 2005, the rapper went into rehab and took a three-year hiatus from his career, before recording the albums Relapse and Recovery. (Scroll down for the videos.)

In last year’s documentary How to Make Money Selling Drugs, Eminem admitted to nearly dying from his addiction, following an overdose. He said:

Had I got to the hospital about two hours later, I would have died. My organs were shutting down. My liver, kidneys, everything. They were gonna have to put me on dialysis, they didn’t think I was gonna make it.

Once released from hospital, the rapper was only drugs-free for a month before relapsing once again. But today, having spent time in rehab, and with the help of his friends, Eminem says he has his life back on track.

3. Speaking His surprise appearance saw him honor his former mentor Dr. Dre and Beats co-founder Jimmy Iovine for their entrepreneurship.
