This Man Eats A Snake In Revenge For Eating All Of His Birds.

When a snake ate all six of his guinea fowl, Trevor Bounds didn’t hesitate for one instant: he fired up the grill, cooked and ate the serpent.

When Bounds went outside to check on the six guinea fowl he kept on his family farm in Oklahoma one night, he found that a six-foot-long snake had eaten every single one of them, KFOR reports.

He then saw the snake slithering in the direction of the next cage, which houses the family dog, Bailey. Bounds managed to catch the snake before it could reach the canine and measured the reptile. (Scroll down for the video.)

Speaking to KFOR about his encounter with the reptile, Bounds said:

It was pretty dark and I grabbed my phone to open the flashlight and I’m face-to-face with a big, old snake.

The man explained that he was irritated that the reptile ate the guineas and, in revenge, he fired up his grill. Bounds told NBC:

For eating my guineas, I ate him.

Bounds proceeded to grill the six-foot-long serpent and told NBC that it “tastes pretty good”.

Now that the farm is down six guineas, the family plans to buy more, according to KFOR. The family also keep chickens, ducks and rabbits.

Bounds explained that he bought the guineas for flea and tick control and added that the cage where they were swallowed whole by the reptile was just their temporary home.

Though the reptile no longer poses a problem for the Bounds family, they are urging everyone to be on the lookout for snakes during the summer months, according to KFOR.

And while the Bounds family lost six guineas, they ended up having a pretty good meal, Trevor told the station. He said:

It didn’t taste like chicken. It was pretty good, it tasted like fish.
