Trapped In The Devastating Louisiana Floods, This Sad Looking Dog Is Rescued Moments Before Drowning.

A rescuer helping save people in the deadly floods of Louisiana is being praised for rescuing a dog from drowning, and in the nick of time!

In a Facebook post, Josh Pettit wrote that he was in his boat, over several feet of flood water on Monday, when he saw a “bush shaking”.

When he looked over, all that Josh could see was a gray muzzle and a pair of sad, frightened eyes staring up at him. The rest of the dog’s body was submerged underneath the muddy waters.

Sadie the dog looked like she had very limited time left when Josh Pettit came by on his boat and happened to see her.

Pettit wrote:

The dog could barely tread water anymore she was so worn out and had the saddest eyes I ever seen so scared for her life!

We saved her and she came laid her head on my lap and cried and moaned like a big baby! She was thanking me. I thank God for letting me notice her.
