Two Turtles Are Rescued After Someone Chained Them Together With A Padlock.

Two turtles were rescued after someone put holes through their carapaces, chained them together with a padlock and left them suffering and helpless.

The turtles would have surely drowned in the Miami River if friends Peter and Michael Oakes hadn’t come across them by chance. Michael rushed to help the reptiles while his friend filmed the rescue.

Using a penknife, Michael was able to set the turtles loose and put them back into the water.
