When a group of villagers stumbled across a dead giant anaconda lying on the ground, they found that its last meal had been another anaconda.
Anacondas typically hunt wild pigs, deer, capybaras and caiman but this one evidently had a very different taste.
As the people sliced open the reptile’s bloated lifeless belly, they discovered that its last feast was another anaconda.
The snake’s body was opened up by a man with a baseball cap and the contents of its fatal last meal spilled onto the ground.
He then proceeded to separate the two reptiles from one another with the help of a wooden stick as bystanders looked on.
Last year, American naturalist Paul Rosolie set out to film himself being devoured by a giant 20-foot anaconda which he and his team had tracked down in the Amazon river.
However, viewers felt let down when the reptile used in the stunt barely nibbled on Rosolie’s helmet before he threw in the towel for fear the snake’s iron grip would break his arm.
