Watch: A Little Girl Meets A Liger!

Have you ever seen a liger before? A hybrid cross between a male lion and a female tiger, ligers exist only in captivity or zoos because the habitats of their parental species do not overlap in the wild.

While ligers share characteristics of both lions and tigers, they resemble lions more closely because theirs is the dominant gene. Typically, they grow larger than either parental species and are believed to be the largest of all existing felines.

Watch this little girl come face to face with a liger at the Shenzhen Safari Park in Guangdong, China.
