This year we mark two big anniversaries: 100years from the outbreak of World War One, known as The Great War until The Second World War surpassed it in casualties and destruction. The second anniversary, of course, is 70 years from D-Day, which we commemorated with a series of stunning then-and-now pictures here.
Well, today I came across an amazing and extremely rare collection of color WWI photos from the dark years that followed the assassination on June 28, 1914 of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
